Humans are an animal suspended in webs of significance that they themselves have spun - culture is those webs and the study of culture is interpretive and one in search of meaning (Geertz in Carey, 2009).

Ted, I would like to thank you for your insight and ability to adjust accordingly realizing that the best way to learn is by doing. Your class was my only class that I actually spent at least six hours a week outside the classroom reading, writing, testing, and re-reading. You exemplify being a teacher because your students want to learn. Have a great summer.
